This is a 2004 Thomas-built 35 foot bus. It features a 6.4 liter Mercedes diesel engine with automatic transition. (There are about 240,000 miles on it, but these engines are said to be good for 500,000 miles.) It’s a good thing that the engine is pre-2010, because engines built thereafter to comply with environmental regs have broken down a lot and are expensive to repair. That said, it easily passed the required emissions test when I brought it into Canada. The six tires have lots of tread on them. It has had all routine maintenance, including a major brake job, new ABS computer module and new starter batteries. With necessary repairs it passed a rigorous mandatory safety inspection when I brought it into Ontario in 2021. The bus is currently insured and plated as a Motor Home in Ontario
